RudraM-II is an indigenous air-to-surface missile that was successfully flight-tested by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) on June 02, 2026. Developed under the leadership of the Research Centre Imarat (RCI), Hyderabad, the missile is designed for high-precision strikes against surface targets. The test was conducted at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Odisha, and validated the performance of all major subsystems. The missile accurately hit its intended target even under extreme release conditions, demonstrating its operational effectiveness and strengthening India’s indigenous missile capabilities.
