The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) celebrated the 37th Raising Day of Project UDAYAK on June 01, 2026, at Doomdooma, Assam. Established in 1987, Project UDAYAK is headquartered at Doomdooma and plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining strategic road infrastructure in the challenging border regions of Northeast India. The project manages more than 1,457 km of roads across Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, enhancing connectivity along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and the Indo–Myanmar border. Its efforts support border security, infrastructure growth, and improved accessibility in remote areas.
