Air Ayodhya, a regional airline under Megamax Aviation, received the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Civil Aviation on September 28, 2026, to operate under the UDAN scheme. The NOC represents the first regulatory step toward obtaining an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The airline aims to improve regional connectivity in Uttar Pradesh by linking tier-2 and tier-3 towns, pilgrimage centres and tourism destinations. Its initial operations are planned with Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft, with the first aircraft scheduled for delivery in December 2026. Future plans include larger aircraft for high-demand routes.
