Tech Mahindra entered into a strategic partnership with IIT Bombay to develop a 3D Digital Twin of the institute’s Gymkhana building. This initiative showcases the use of advanced technologies such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), 3D rendering, cloud-based visualisation, and IoT integration. The digital twin will enable real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and efficient resource management. It also aims to support data-driven decision-making for smart campus development. As a pilot project, it demonstrates scalability potential, allowing similar frameworks to be extended across the entire campus in the future, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and infrastructure management.
