Punjab National Bank (PNB) signed an MoU with the Digital India BHASHINI Division (DIBD) to integrate AI-powered multilingual language technologies into banking services. The collaboration aims to enable voice-first banking through the BHASHINI for Seva/Sanchalan initiative, making digital banking more accessible in multiple Indian languages. The partnership covers key BHASHINI components such as Udyat, Mitra, AppMitra, Pravakta, and Bhashadaan. This initiative is expected to reduce language barriers in Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), improve customer accessibility, and promote inclusive banking services for people across diverse linguistic backgrounds in India.
