P. L. S. S. Chaitanya Prakash took charge as the Director (Power) of NLC India Limited on October 5, 2026. In this role, he is responsible for managing thermal power generation and plant operations, along with expanding the company’s clean-energy and renewable-energy portfolio. Before joining NLC India Limited, he served as Executive Director (Operations) at Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) and held board-level positions at Green Valley Renewable Energy Ltd and DVC-CIL Power Pvt Ltd. NLC India Limited is a Navratna government enterprise established in 1956 under the administrative control of the Ministry of Coal, with its headquarters in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu.
