Jeetendra Mishra, a retired Air Marshal of the Indian Air Force, was appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya. He brings more than three decades of experience in the Indian Air Force and was commissioned as a fighter pilot on December 6, 1986. Mishra is a fighter combat leader and experimental test pilot with over 3,000 hours of flying experience. He has studied at prestigious institutions including the National Defence Academy, Air Force Test Pilots School, Air Command & Staff College in the USA, and Royal College of Defence Studies in the UK.

Suman Ray was appointed as an Executive Director (ED) of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) effective September 1, 2026. Before this appointment, he served as the Regional Director of the RBI for Maharashtra. As Executive Director, he will oversee the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) and the Premises Department. Ray has more than three decades of experience with the RBI and has worked across areas such as currency management, financial inclusion, payments and settlements, consumer education and protection, and human resources. He has also served as secretary to the Western Area Local Board.

John Ternus is set to become Apple’s CEO from September 1, 2026, succeeding Tim Cook after Cook’s 15-year tenure. Ternus joined Apple in 2001 and rose to become senior vice president of hardware engineering, overseeing teams responsible for major products including the iPhone. As CEO, he is expected to focus on hardware innovation, artificial intelligence, product development, and Apple’s geopolitical and manufacturing challenges. Tim Cook will remain with Apple as executive chairman of the board, focusing on engagement with policymakers worldwide while Ternus concentrates on engineering, technology, and product strategy.

Satish Golcha has been appointed as the Director General (DG) of Home Guards, Delhi, and is scheduled to assume charge on October 1, 2026. He is a 1992-batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre. Golcha previously served as the Delhi Police Commissioner from August 22, 2025, to July 17, 2026. He has also served as DGP of Arunachal Pradesh, DG of Tihar Prisons, and Special Commissioner of Police (Intelligence). He will succeed Virender Singh, a 1991-batch IPS officer, who is due to retire on September 30, 2026. The Home Guards assist civil administration in law and order, traffic management, and disaster response.

Satish Golcha, a senior IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Directorate of Home Guards, Delhi. His OSD tenure will continue until the retirement of the current Director General, Virender Singh, on September 30, 2026. From October 1, 2026, Golcha is expected to take charge as the Director General of Home Guards. Earlier, he served as Commissioner of Police, Delhi, and Director General (Prisons), Delhi, along with holding other senior positions in the Delhi Police.
