Jharkhand received GI tag recognition for four traditional products—Bhagaiya Silk, Kuchai Silk, Munda Jewellery, and Bamboo Craft. These products represent the state's rich cultural heritage, traditional craftsmanship, and indigenous knowledge systems. Bhagaiya Silk and Kuchai Silk are known for their distinctive silk production techniques, while Munda Jewellery reflects the cultural identity of the Munda tribal community. Jharkhand Bamboo Craft showcases the skills of rural artisans who create handicrafts using locally sourced bamboo. The registration process was coordinated by NABARD's Jharkhand branch with support from Farmer Producer Organisations, Self-Help Groups, and technical institutions, helping preserve and promote these unique regional products.
