The Border Security Force (BSF) celebrated its 52nd Raising Day. It was established on December 1,1965.BSF stand as the world's largest border security force. It is one of five Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and currently headed by Director General KK Sharma. The BSF is a paramilitary force responsible for guarding India's land border during peacetime and preventing transnational crime. BSF is termed 'India's first line of defence' and guard a border that runs through creeks, deserts, farmlands and mountains to swamps, rivers and seas.

Telangana Minister for IT and Industries KT Rama Rao stated that 3 initiatives for women entrepreneurs including setting up 'We-Hub' on the lines of T-Hub and also to create Rs 15 crore fund. CEO of NITI Aayog Amitabh Kant along with Telangana Government announced it will back the proposed WE-Hub with funds under the Atal Innovation Mission. T-Hub is a partnership between the government of Telangana with three of India's premier academic institutes (International Institute of Information Technology-Hyderabad, Indian School of Business and the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research) and key private sector leaders.It is simply called as Public-Private partnership.

The sole Indian participant and defending Asian champion Shiva Keshavan retained his title with a time of 55.60 seconds.India's veteran Winter Olympian Shiva Keshavan won a gold medal at the Asian Luge Championships at Altenberg, Germany. Due to technical reasons, the Asian Luge Championships took place at Altenberg in Germany.

Miss Korea Jenny Kim was crowned Miss Supranational 2017 on Friday in Poland. Tica Martinez of Colombia and Bianca Tirsin of Romania were named the first runner-up and second runner-up respectively.

West Bengal becomes the first state in India to setup green university. On November 30 2017, A bill named 'West Bengal Green University Bill 2017' has been passed in West Bengal Assembly to set up an environmental studies university at Hooghly district.

The 22nd meeting of Board of Management (BOM) of Small Farmers, Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC), chaired by Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Radha Mohan Singh was held in New Delhi. The Scheme aims to facilitate the promotion of agri-business projects establishing backward linkages with farmers, providing assured market to their production, thereby generating employment and enhancing farmer's income.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit (HTLS) 2017 in New Delhi. The theme of this summit is "The Irreversible Rise of India". Google launched Datally App to understand,control and save users mobile data themselves. Datally App available on the Google Play Store, will enable users to track their data usage in real time, and get personalized recommendations on saving data along with notifications of nearby available public Wi-Fi spots.

India re-elected to the Council of the International Maritime Organisation under a category that represents nations with the largest interests in international seaborne trade. He had assured the organisation during his UK visit that India would rededicate itself with a renewed commitment towards the development of the objectives of IMO if re-elected, and leverage the opportunity for the accelerated and sustained growth of the global maritime community. It has been one of the earliest members of the IMO, having ratified its convention and joined it as a member-state in the year 1959.

Ankushita Boro 17-year-old girl from Assam won 'The Best Boxer title' in AIBA World Youth Women's Boxing Championship held in Guwahati. Ankushita Boro won the fifth gold with her bout against Russia's Ekaterina Dynnik in the 64kg final. India also secured two bronze medals through Neha Yadav and Anupama in 81 kg weight category in this championship.

President Ram Nath Kovind Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces will be on a two-day visit to Visakhapatnam on December 7-8 to participate in the golden jubilee celebrations of the Navy's Submarine Arm. The Chief of Eastern Naval Command (ENC) Vice-Admiral Karambir Singh said in Visakhapatnam that President will arrive in the city on December 7 and will visit Andhra University in the afternoon. He will present colours to the Submarine Arm, as per the schedule.

India signed a technical cooperation agreement with Spain to implement a Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) under which the trains run at a speed of 180Kmph. The Minister Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri stated that a collaboration with Spain would enable availability of technical advice on specific issues related to the high-speed rail transit. 3 RRTS corridors are expected to link Delhi with Meerut, Panipat and Alwar. An Indo-Spanish technical cooperation agreement was signed between the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and the Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias (ADIF), Spain.
