x = 0.66
From the fixed end,
1 - x = 0.33.
5x = 8(x-0.25)
x = 0.66

Let POC is at x distance from A point then taking moment at that point 5(1-x)-8(0.75-x)=0 then, 3x=8*0.75-5 = 1then x=0.333 M.
