According to decline balance method,
rate of depreciation P=1-(s/c)^1/n.
P = 1-(2000/16000)^1/3,
P = 1-(1/8)^1/3,
P = 1-1/2,
P = 0.5.
rate of depreciation P=1-(s/c)^1/n.
P = 1-(2000/16000)^1/3,
P = 1-(1/8)^1/3,
P = 1-1/2,
P = 0.5.

Subtract Rs.2000.
Rs 16000- Rs 2000 = Rs 14000.
Convert years to hours 3 year = 26280hours.
The rate of depreciation = 14000/26280 = .53.
Rs 16000- Rs 2000 = Rs 14000.
Convert years to hours 3 year = 26280hours.
The rate of depreciation = 14000/26280 = .53.

Rate of depreciation=(1- C's/Ci)^1/n.
= ( 1-16000/2000)^1/3
= 0.5.
= ( 1-16000/2000)^1/3
= 0.5.
