Max shear stress to max Bending stress: T/2M.
In case Max Bending Stress to Max Shear stress : 2M/T.
In case Max Bending Stress to Max Shear stress : 2M/T.

Maximum shear stress is 1.2N/mm2. Maximum longitudinal stress is 12N/mm2.
The span to depth ratio is? Anybody, please help me.

Max shear stress = 16T/πd^3.
Bending stress = 32M/πd^3.
so when you divide 16T/32M = T/2M.
Bending stress = 32M/πd^3.
so when you divide 16T/32M = T/2M.
