Magnetic bearing of AB=89+1=90.
So magnetic bearing of BA=90+180=270.
So magnetic bearing of BA=90+180=270.

MB of AB = 89-1 =88 (1° West).
Bearing of BA = 88+180= 268.
West means -.
East means +.
Bearing of BA = 88+180= 268.
West means -.
East means +.

Magnetic bearing = true bearing +declination.
= true bearing + declination.
= 89+1= 90°.
= true bearing + declination.
= 89+1= 90°.

True bearing of AB=89°
BA = 180 + 89 = 269,
Megnetic declinations=1w(-ve).
TB = MB-MD.
269°= MB-1,
MB = 269 + 1,
MB = 270°.
BA = 180 + 89 = 269,
Megnetic declinations=1w(-ve).
TB = MB-MD.
269°= MB-1,
MB = 269 + 1,
MB = 270°.

270° is the right answer, as it is asking for MB of line BA and not AB.
