Slope correction = h^2/2L.

h2/21 = 1.8^2/(2*15) = 1.08~.11.

@Chandu.

How 1.08 =.11?

Same doubt for me. How 1.08 =.11?

We get Horizontal distance = 14.89 by Pythagoras formula & the error is cumulative.
So, 15 - 14.89 = 0.11.

Error due to slope correction is always +ve so from option it's +0.11.

0.108 only coming ~.11 in slope error is only cumulative +0.11.

I think the answer is [C].cumulative, - 0.11 m; because slope correction is always negative. plz, anyone describes it .

Yes, option C is the right answer.

Correction always negative but an error is positive.
