When will the distance increase obviously the intercept will also be increased so how option B can be right?

To get the horizontal distance, we multiply staff intercept with some constants, so A seems the correct answer.

Given answer is correct. As you move your staff far away it shows small image in the telescope so staff intercept will be smaller.
