Can anyone explain that why option (A) is not correct?

I too have the same doubt @Sumit.

Please explain us.

I think option A is correct.

Anyone explain why option A, is wrong?

In flat terrain the elevation difference is slight. So when we draw contours of this region, the salient features of the ground could not be represented.

Option B is correct.

Large contour interval is for undulated ground.

For levelled or flat terrain small (close) contour interval is used.

Agri @Saurav.

Option B is correct because in flat terrain in the contour interval will be very less for very large horizontal distances that can be possible to depict the general topographical features.

I think option a is correct because in a flat ground change of slope is less. So large interval is used.

Correct @Rajesh ray.

Option D is the correct answer.

Because it's given salient features (most important things).
