The correct answer is 12 Tm, since the moment from other end also comes to at A due to having single support. Point C is not able to withstand 4 Tm at all.

Answer is correct, due to the moment at c in the opposite direction, it actually cancels the moment due to point load, and thus net moment is zero.

Solution:
The sum of the moment at A =0.

Here;

clockwise +
Anticlockwise -
So,
2×2-4-Ma=0
Ma=0
So the given answer is correct.

It should have been 4Tm then answer is zero else it would HB been 12Tm.

0 because 4t is resisting moment and question is asking bending moment.

Vay = 2T.

Take moment at C is zero.

4+(2*2)-Ma-Vay*4 = 0.

Ma = 0.

@All.

Just remember that B.M at the fixed end is always zero!

The unit of the moment at C should be 4Tm, not 4T/m

BM at A = -4 + (2 * 2),
= 0.

@Lily.

0 is at free end not at fixed end.
