Here,
X dir. = P/E.
Y dir. = - 2P/ mE,
Z dir. = 0,
Volumetric strain= X+Y+Z.
So, ans is option B.
X dir. = P/E.
Y dir. = - 2P/ mE,
Z dir. = 0,
Volumetric strain= X+Y+Z.
So, ans is option B.

In X = P/A
In y + in z = 2p/mE
so the answer is option B.
In y + in z = 2p/mE
so the answer is option B.

Volumetric strain= strain in x+strain in y+ strain in z.
So,
v=p/E+(-2P/mE) +0.
V = P/E -(2P/ME).
So,
v=p/E+(-2P/mE) +0.
V = P/E -(2P/ME).
