Deflection of the cantilever is PL^3/3EI.
So, i=bd^3/12 according to the quetions ratio ( bd^3/12 )/(2b(2d)^3/12) =1/16,
ia/ib=0.0625.
ia/ib= 6.25% is the answer.

Deflection.
For point load, deflection (proportional) -> l^3/bd^3.
For udl deflection (proportional) -> l^4/bd^3.

Deflection at free end Y = pL^3/(2EI).
= 1/2.
= 1/2.

Deflection will increase on increasing width and decrease on increasing depth.
