The thickness of the web of a mild steel plate girder is less than d/200. If only one horizontal stiffener is used, it is placed at
the neutral axis of the section
2/3rd of the depth of the neutral axis from the compression flange
2/5th of the depth of the neutral axis from the compression flange
2/5th of the height of the neutral axis from tension flange

@ Nirmal & @All.

Here in the question, it talks about thicknesses which is correct according to the relationship. We know that for horizontal Stiffener d/t>200 which implies d/200>t. So the given answer is correct.

T<d/200.
200<d/t implies d/t>200.

1st Stiffener. 2d from compression flange.

2nd Stiffener. 5d from compression flange.
