|In book regarding to author NEGI, max shear force occurs at the edge of the LOAD.
He doesn't told it iccurs at edge of d GRILLAGE BEAM. May the max shear force will be at the edge of the LOAD TRANSFERRED BY THE COLUMN TO THE GRILLAGE BEAM.
