Gross dia of rivet is, nominal dia of rivet +1.5 or 2 according to nominal dia of rivet. It means gross dia of the rivet is always dia of rivet hole. Therefore 'c' option only right.

Here no any case of hot and cold. Thanks.

Answer is C. Gross dia=dia of rivet hole theoretically and practically B is the answer.
