We know,

γb/γw = Gm = 1.92.
γb = Gm x γw = 1.92 x 9.8 = 18.816.

Again, We know,

γd = γb / (1+w) = 18.816 / (1+0.3) = 14.473.

We also know,

γd = (G x γw) / (1+e).

(1+e) = (Gs x γw)/γd.
= (2.75 x 9.8) / (14.473),
= 1.862,
(1+e) = 1.862.

e = 1.862 - 1 = 0.862 (Answer).

Gs=Gm (1+e).

Here, we can also work on a solution please help me all of you.

Gm= Gs/ (1+e).
Gs= Gm (1+e).

Soil sample is porosity 30% the specific gravities solid is 2.65 calculate words ratio dry Unit Weight Unit of solid 50% saturated and Unit Weight of completely saturated.

Here, e = (G-Gm)/(Gm - S).

G = Gm(1+e) because soil is not dry, Soil contains some water content.
