Generally 0.15.
HYSD bars 0.12.
So, the Given answer is right.

0.15% is the correct answer. Because the minimum grade of steel used in RCC structure is Fe250.

Ans should be .12 because they don't mention type of bar.

So take min i.e .12%.

0.15% For fe250.
0.12% for Fe 415 then,
Fe 500=?

Not clear. In this question, which reinforcement is provided but 0.15% for mild steel and 0.12% for HYSD bar.

The steel reinforcement may be calculated approximately on the % basis of concrete:

And the value depends on the grade of steel.
