What is diagonal tensile stress?

Achchhelal said:   9 years ago
10 percent total stress ka =15 safety factor of concrete and 3 is diagonal tensile stress.

So, 15/3 = 5.

Tensile of concrete = 0.7fck^.5 then 0.7 * 3.87 = 2.7 N/mm2.

Please Explain me neatly.

The tensile strength of concrete is (0.7) multiply (root of fck).
Means (0.7) multiply (root of 15) = 2.7,
Therefore 3.
