Sleeper density is m+7.

Length is 13m.

Therefore spacing = m/(m + 7) = 13/(13 + 7).
= 0.65m = 65 cm.

Width w = 25cm.

Therefore depth = (s - w)/2 =(65 - 25)/2 = 20cm.

Here,

Sleeper Density = N+X,

M = Length of one Rail in meter = 13.
X = Excess number of Sleeper = 7.

Sleeper Density = 7+13 = 20.

Spacing between sleeper= (13/(13+7)) =.65m.
And bottom width=25cm.
Then depth of ballast= (s-w) /2=(65-25) /2=20cm.

Spacing bet^n Sleeper = w/2+2Db+w/2.

S = 13/(13+7) = 65, w = 65. Then from above formula Db = 20 cm.

No of sleeee (M+7)=20 Spacing=Rail Length/No.
1300/20=65,
Db=S-W/2,
(65-25)/2=20cm.

Its a sleeper density. Not a depth of ballast?

What will be the depth of ballast?
