I think the correct option is C because hygroscopic water can be removed by heat.

@Mohit and that chemical bond is called Adhesion is the same thing,

All the option seems correct because;

1) The Gravity water affects plants due to water clogging and air circulation.
2) Hygroscopic water remains in the soil and cannot be utilized by soil.
3) Capillary water is the water plants use for photosynthesis mostly.
So, the right Answer is D.

C is right because of hydroscopic water attached by soil by adhesive force not by a chemical bond. Structural water is attached to a chemical bond.

Yes, all are correct.

Since gravity water is held for 1-3 days by soon and also prevent aeration of air for the crop. So this water is harmful to crops.

And hygroscopic water is firmly held by soil which can't be extracted for application in irrigation.

C is the correct answer. I agree with the given answer.

Hygroscopic water is held by adhesion not chemical bond. So, C is correct.

How gravity water is harmful for crop? please explain.

The correct option seems to be D as A and B are also true.

Hygroscopic water is held as a thin film of low chemical bond around the soil particle. Correct me, if I am wrong.
