Option C is correct.

Since,

For a long pipe, minor losses are ignored and as we all know loss at the entrance, exit etc are minor losses.

The only major loss we consider is friction.

More the length of Pipe More will be the Frictional loss.

In comparison to the head losses at entry and exit,

Which only depends on velocities and not on pipe length.

Frictional losses will be tremendous say 1000000.

While entry and exit loss be 10. So, Neglected!

For a short pipe head loss due to friction is considered but for long pipe head loss due to friction is ignored.
