3% is for earth roads and 2.5% for CC and bituminous pavements.

Min cross fall for shoulder kept 0.5% steeper then pavement which subjects to min of 3%.

Cross fall is always 3 times the gradient slope and shoulder slope is 0.5 % steeper than pavement.

Cross fall of the shoulder is 0.5% more mire than camber.
Therefore = camber + 0.5,
=2.5+0.5,
= 3%.
Therefore = camber + 0.5,
=2.5+0.5,
= 3%.
