We know, for superelevation:

e+f= v^2/gR. The term on the RHS of the equal sign is called the centrifugal ratio.

We know maximum values of:
e= 0.07 and f= 0.15.
So, (e+f )max= 0.22.

Max centrifugal ratio:
For highways = 1/4.
For railways = 1/8.
