It's so easy. Simple calculation.

Total pavement= 9m half = 9 * 0.5 = 4.5.

Horizontal Distance ------------- Vertical Distance.
4.5m. --------------> 0.15m.
1 m. -------------->?

0.15 / 4.5. = 1/30. Means 1 in 30.

Total width of carrige way = 9m.
So camber always consider distance from crown to edge which is 4.5m here.
Hence 4.5 ÷ 0.15 = 30,
So camber is 1 in 30.

The equation of straight camber:-
y= W/2N.
W - width of the road,
N - slope, y- ht of camber(crown),
0.15=9/2N,
N=9/2*0.15,
N= 30. So camber is 1 in 30.

Camber is given on half-width of the road.

So, 9m/2=4.5m. Or 450cm.
Now given that,
For 450 cm long there is 15 cm height.
1 cm --- 15/450 = 1/30 or 1 in 30 =>answer.

Ymax = W/2N.

So, N = W/2 Ymax.
N= 900/2*15 = 30.
Gradient, G = 1 in N,
G = 1 in 30.

Thanks @Dabhi Deepak.

A simple way is 450/15 = 30.

Hence 1 in 30.

Camber is ratio of height of crown to horizontal distance from centre to edge.

So, first converting 15cm to m = 0.15,
Camber = 0.15/4.5 = 1/30.
