Porosity = specific yield + specific retention.
0.35 = 0.15 + specific retention.
Specific retention = 0.25.
Change in volume = 0.25 * 200 * 4m.
1.6 * 10^6 m.
0.35 = 0.15 + specific retention.
Specific retention = 0.25.
Change in volume = 0.25 * 200 * 4m.
1.6 * 10^6 m.

Specific retention is 0.25, is given in question, did you mean specific yield?

Also .25x200x4 is 200.
How you get 1.6x106? @Sadasiva.
How you get 1.6x106? @Sadasiva.

Here = 0.20 * 4 * 200 * 10^4.
=1.6 x 10^6 m.
=1.6 x 10^6 m.

Porosity = specific yield + specific retention.
0.35 = specific yield + 0.15,
Specific yield = 0.20,
Change in volume = 0.2 * 200hectare * 4m*10000 (1 Hectare=10000sq.mt) S.
1.6 * 10^6 m.
0.35 = specific yield + 0.15,
Specific yield = 0.20,
Change in volume = 0.2 * 200hectare * 4m*10000 (1 Hectare=10000sq.mt) S.
1.6 * 10^6 m.
