The Septic tank shall have a minimum width of 750 mm, a minimum depth of one metre below water level and a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 litres so 75cm is the right answer.

The correct answer is 75cm.
Minimum depth= 1m.
Mini liquid capacity=1000 lit,
Floor slope=1/20.

As per is 2470(part 1):1985--minimum width 750 mm,
Min capacity 1000 litre,
Min freeboard 300 mm,
Min grade of concrete for septic tank m15.

Minimum width is 60 cm + partition wall 15 cm = 75 cm and minimum depth is 90 cm + free board 30 cm = 1.2m.
