Both are same @Noorul.

The short wall is calculated in short wall long wall method by deducting the half breadth of each wall from the centre to centre distance. Hence the question is correct, I think.

I think, This question is not correct because center to center distance not to be measured in long wall short wall method. Center to center method is already fixed. So that long wall will be measured outer to outer and short wall eill be measured inner to inner.
