Major work: 20000 to 100000.
Project: >100000.

A petty work is one the cost of which does not exceed Rs. 20, 000,
A minor work is one the cost of which exceeds Rs. 20, 000, but does not exceed Rs. 1, 00, 000.
And a major work is one the cost of which exceeds Rs. 1, 00, 000.

Major works >5 lac.
Minor works >1 lac but < 5lac.
Petty works less or equal to 1 lac.
Major works >5 lac.
Minor works >1 lac but < 5lac.
