The temperature at lower end in rotary kilns is between 1500 'C to 1650 'C is called clinkering zone, central portion of the kilns is between 700'C to 1200'C is called calcination zone and upper end is between 250'C is called evaporated zone. These centigrade are the standard burning in Rotary Kilns, (if dry or wet processing).

It depends upon a type of requirement of cement and ingredient of cement 1000 to 1700.
