In my point of view, option A is not correct as Continuous grading "is necessary" for obtaining a minimum of air voids.

Therefore, Option D can't be the correct option.

The absence of a certain size in the grading (Sieve Analysis) is represented by a horizontal line for that particular size in the Grading Curve as the cumulative %age of passage does not change through that sieve size.
