Here, fine aggregates can also sieve along with course aggregates.

It is possible then sived with< 4.75 size sives.

As per IS 383:2016 ...grading of aggregates.

Course agg:- 80mm 63mm 40mm 20mm 16mm 12.5mm 10mm 4.75mm 2.36mm.

Fine agg:- 10mm 4.75mm 2.36mm 1.18mm 600 micron 300 micron 150 micron.

For Fineness modulus:

Course aag:- 80mm 40mm 20mm 10mm 4.75mm 2.36mm 1.18mm 600mic 300mic 150mic.

Fine agg:- 4.75mm 2.36mm 1.18mm 600mic 300mic 150mic.

4.75, 2.36, 1.18, 600 micron, 300 micron, 150 micron ---->> Fine Aggregates.

What is cyclopean aggregate?

Arun said:   1 decade ago
The aggregate of size more than 75 mm are called Cyclopean aggregate. Since the Max size of coarse aggregate is 75 mm.

Darshan said:   9 years ago
The answer is coarse aggregate.

Xylo said:   9 years ago
Actually, the question is wrong as coarse aggregates contain 20mm and 40mm aggregates also not only 10mm. And max sieve size to determine the size of fine aggregates is 4, 75.
