The Wooden floats vary greatly in size. Most are around 280mm (11") long and about 120mm (5") wide. Some are long and thin - up to 460x75mm (18 x3") - and are used mainly for smoothing concrete.

A wooden Float is a tool which is used by a mason for Plastering.
So for best wooden Float, its aspect ratio (L/d) should be 7.5.
It is dimensionless.

Wooden float is also known as skimming float. It has a thickness of about 10-12 mm. It is used for the finishing coat of the plaster.

Answer is 4.5.

The dimensions of wooden float is 16 inch and 3.5 inch.

So (16/3.5) is approximately 4.5.

L/B ratio Equal 460mm/75mm.

Then simple ratio equals 46/7.5.
Hence answer is breadth 7.5.

It is used to finishing work.

L/Driver ratio = 7.5.
L=1.5, D=0.2.
