According to RS Khurmi, the degree of workability of concrete and its slump values are given as follows:

Very Low: 0-25 mm slump.
Low: 25-50 mm slump.
Medium: 50-75 mm slump.
High: 75-150 mm slump.

So, the given answer is correct i.e. Medium.

The degree of workability of concrete and its slump values are;

(1) Very Low 0 - 25 mm slump
(2) Low 25-50 mm slump.
(3) Medium 50-100 mm slump.
(4) High 100-150 mm slump.

Why we use very dry mix in road making?

You are correct, agree @Papai Ghosh.

1) Very dry mixes having slump 0 " 25 mm are typically used in road making,

2) low workability mixes having slump 10 " 40 mm are typically used for foundations with light reinforcement,

3) medium workability mixes with slump 50 " 90 mm, are typically used for normal reinforced concrete placed with vibration,

4) high workability concrete with slump > 100 mm is typically used where reinforcing has tight spacing, and/or the concrete has to flow a great distance.

<25mm-very low workability.
25-50mm-low workability.
50-75mm-medium workability.
75-125mm-high workability.

Very low 0-25 mm,
Low 25-75mm,
Medium 75-100mm,
High 100-150mm,

In that sense 60 mm slump must be medium.
