If we increase water bleeding will happen. If we increase CA Honeycomb will occur because infront of that FA will decrease. The main moto of using the homogeneous (Coarse void should be filled by fine aggregate & fine aggregate void filled be Cement paste) mix proper proportion of aggregate.
So he answer is rich mix, which covers the surface of aggregate & reduce the internal friction.

Answer is right.
If we use C. A and more water then surface area will decrease and less interlocking between particles!
The Same condition occur when we use more water content, due to lubrication internal friction will reduce!

I think the Answer is based on the idea that coarse aggregates provide less surface area of contact than the fine particles that provide a higher surface area of contact b/w particles that causes friction.

I'm also agree with hassan. How can we assume that by increasing coarse aggregates can result in decrease in internal friction?
But if we increase fine aggregates we can.
But if we increase fine aggregates we can.

How, if we increase water so there will be less work ability and slump value. This is not a way to reduce internal friction we must use some special ingredients.

Answer is right, author don't care about concrete strength. We all know more water makes concrete bleeding and more coarse aggregate causes honeycomb.

Well, I think about adding more water. Lubrication will be more and thus internal friction will be decreased.

Lubrication system will reduced the friction adding fine aggregate and rich mix will reduced the friction.

If we adding coarse aggregate, the surface area will less so we can reduce the friction.
