Concrete shrinks after drying due to the voids are filled by air after drying. It is considerably filled by water. Water will evaporate from that place by drying. . Thus it shrinks.

Shrinks coming in concrete due to the absence of water.

Concrete shrinks after casting due to the chemical reaction known as HEAT OF HYDRATION, due to this action the water present in concrete will evaporate as per the required period. Finally the loss of water in concrete cause shrinkage in concrete.

Water will be dry and heat of hydration process start so concrete shrink.

This is because the water content in the concrete will evaporate and it will shrink.

I guess its because water is evaporated and the concrete becomes compact.

What is the process of that ordinary cement concrete will shrinks after casting on drying?

@Bhagyashree.
It is not so that the water will evaporate and concrete will get compact.
Only thing is that the chemical process will going on inside the concrete structure thats why it get shrinks.
Curing is done to protect the inside chemical action against evaporate to get strengthen the structure.
If the curing is not done within the time then the structure will definitely cracks, and may chance to collapse.

It shrink because of capillary pressure.

Concrete shrinks after drying due to loss of water by evaporation which results in shrinkage cracks.
Proper curing is hence required to contain the shrinkage cracks.
