Quick-setting cement is a type of cement that sets rapidly after being mixed with water. It is used in situations where a fast setting is required, such as underwater construction or in emergency repair works.
Aluminium sulphate is added to the cement in a very fine powdered form. It accelerates the hydration process, making the cement set quickly.
Gypsum is usually added to slow down the setting time of cement, so reducing or increasing gypsum does not produce quick-setting cement.
Pozzolana is used in making pozzolanic cement, which is different from quick-setting cement.

Answer is C.
Quick Setting Cement as the name indicates, these types of cements are used where quick setting is needed. The quick setting cement is manufactured by adding a small percentage of aluminum sulphate and then it is finely grinded with cement.
And also for quick setting action a small percentage of gypsum or retarder is added. The aluminum sulphate is mainly added to accelerate the setting time fast.

I think answer A & C both are correct because gypsum is mainly increase setting time but here it said less amount of gypsum and aluminium sulphate is accelerate setting so both answer A & C is correct.

C -, cz gypsum is retardar, which mean increase setting time,
But here asked about the quick setting, i.e accelerator, mean decrease setting time which is aluminium sapphire (Al2So4).

Option C is CORRECT.
Because quick setting cement mainly produced by adding a small amount of ALSO4 and fine grinding other than RHS OR OPC. And reduced CASO4 (GYPSUM).

Answer is A and C because gypsum is retarded setting time and aluminum sulphate is produced quick setting but best answer is C.

Gypsum retard the initial setting time, therefore we should add in less amount.
So, option A is the correct answer.
So, option A is the correct answer.

The answer will be option A. Because gypsum is such a chemical compound which is liable for the setting of cement.

I think A is the right answer. Or one can add calcium chloride as an accelerator.
