Normally,
Riser h=17 cm.
Tread (going) l=25 cm.
So. h*l = 17 * 25 = 425.
But standard sizes are,
7 to 9 inch for risers and.
9 to 11 inch for treads.
So B and C both right but the nearest value of 425 is 420 so B is correct answer for this question

Staircase are designed according to use as for residential or commercial and different dimensions are for them. Generally for residential buildings the product of rise and going is kept 450.

Riser = 15 cm & Tread = 30 cm.
Example- In 1st Step Finishing Material 3 cm also this condition in 2nd step then overall height not change.
30 x 15 = 450.

The product of the going, measured in millimeters, and the rise, measured in millimeters, shall be not less than 45 000 and not greater than 48 000.

Height of riser should be 17 and width of the going should be 25 in this way product of R*G=425, so that the option B will be correct.

Generally we keep rise as much as minimum as possible i.e. 15 cm and going as maximum as possible i.e. 28cm. So 15*28 = 420 cm.

The minimum for riser is 120 mm and tread is 250 mm, riser = 150 mm and tread = 300 mm is the ideal proportion.

Recommended size of the riser is 15cm and the going (tread) is 30cm and the product of both will gives 450cm.

No, the rise is 7 inch. Tread is 10 inch. That means 17 cm and 25 cm. 17 * 25= 425.
It's correct.
It's correct.

@Hardik.
I didn't get your point,
Why you are multiplying 30 by 9?
Can you explain please?
