Hello, guys, dormer window is provided to the perpendicular to the sloping roof. And skylight window provided in the horizontal plane.

Both are different @Pankaj.
Skylight - top is parallel to the roof surface.
Dormer - top is not parallel to the roof surface.
Skylight - top is parallel to the roof surface.
