A patented pile formed by driving a steel shell into the ground to the required depth, putting in small quantities of concrete, and hammering them down so as to force the concrete into the earth beyond the point of the shell; thus enlarging the end and greatly increasing the bearing area, is called Mac-arthur piles.

Mac-Arthur pile is also called as Under reamed pile.. There may be single reamed pile or double reamed pile foundation. This type of pile foundation is best suitable in the Area having problems of black cotton soil.

Frankie pile is different. Answer given is right. It's also known as pedestal pile or bulb pile or McArthur pile.

It's Franki pile not Under Ream Pile because bulb provided in between length, not at the bottom.

The bulb is provided in an under-reamed pile so the correct option is none of these.
