C.G = Centre of Gravity (Offset Footing of a boundary wall).

Water cement ratio is the amount of water added in cement as compared to cement's quantity.

Let 200 g Cement + percentage of water added(50 ml water).

An offset is the projection of the lower step from the vertical face of the upper step. The width of the footing is found on the basis of safe bearing pressure for the soil by expression.

Water cement ratio means it is the ratio between the water and cement.

It tells amount of water to be added to cement to get workable paste. It is determined by consistency test.

C.G means center of gravity.

It means the point through which the whole weight of the body acts.

Body having only one C.G for all positions of body.

@Munna.

Rcc slab will reach 50% of its strength at within 7 days of curing and remains within 21 days of curing.

Water cement ratio can be calculated by 50% water taken is average then 50 = w/c.

w = water.
c = cement.

As water is increases in WC ratio the strength of concrete is decreases.

How many days should concrete cure for 50% strength?

Akshay Gupta said:   7 years ago
7 days required for concrete to gaining 50% strenth.
