The answer is centrode. Centrode, in kinematics, is the path traced by the instantaneous center of rotation of a rigid plane figure moving in a plane. The Centroid is the average position of all the points of an object.

No how could it be centroid. ? Question is asking about the locus and centroid is a point of plane figure while it is a mass body.
