The answer is 15m unless its a type in the question.

If the gradients are 0.8% and -0.7%, then answer would have been 150m.

Here gradient is 3% maximum for 30 meter.

So it's 0.003.

So, answer 0.008+0.007*30/0.003= 150 m.

According to me, the answer is 1500 m (0.08+0.07) * 30/0.003 = 1500 m.

How could 0.08% will be 0.008 and 0.07%will be 0.007? It should be 0.0008 and 0.0007. Is it?

TC length = (S1-S2)*L1/So.

= (0.008+0.007)*30/0.003 = 150 m.
