Correct length may be = 1800+1800*0. 07*1200/300 = 2430 m. So answer must be B.

7/300*1200 = 28.

28/100*1800+1800 = 2304. So correct answer is 2304 which is not in option.

@Mahesh.

Check your calculation. It comes 2304 not 2430.

Please explain the solution.

(7/100)*1800*(1200/300)=504.

1800+504=2404.

I think the Correct answer is D.

Guys, I think 6.5°C rise per 1000m elevation.

And 1% increase in length per °C rise in temperature (standard temp. at sea level is 15°C) should also be considered.

The Correction for elevation and temp exceeds 35%. And Answer I got is 2484m.
